Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This page explains what we store in your browser and why. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than the usual wall of legalese.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work at all. You cannot turn them off without breaking sign-in.

  • Clerk sets session cookies that keep you logged in and protect against cross-site request forgery.
  • A/B test cookie (`ab-landing-variant`) records which version of the landing page you were shown, so you get a consistent experience rather than a different page on every visit.

Analytics

We use these to understand which lessons people finish and which ones they abandon. They tell us what to fix. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

  • PostHog records page views and product events (for example, completing a lesson).
  • Google Analytics records aggregate traffic and which landing page variant converted.

Error tracking

Sentry captures errors when something breaks, along with enough technical context to reproduce it. This is how we find out the site is broken before you have to tell us.

How to control cookies

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you from being able to sign in, so your progress will not save. Blocking analytics and error tracking has no effect on the lessons themselves.

You can also turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, and we honour it for analytics.
