What We Collect
When you create an account on Meet Claude, authentication is handled by Clerk, a third-party authentication provider. Through this process, we receive and store:
- Your name and email address (provided during sign-up)
- Profile information you choose to add (bio, avatar, social links)
- Lesson progress, activity completions, and achievement data
- Community contributions (posts, comments, challenge responses)
Analytics
We use analytics to understand how learners use the platform and to improve the experience. This includes:
- Pages visited and features used
- Lesson completion patterns
- General usage statistics (session duration, device type)
Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve content and platform features. We do not build individual advertising profiles.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain your account
- To track your learning progress and achievements
- To send optional email notifications (weekly summaries, achievement alerts) which you can disable in settings
- To display leaderboards and community features
- To improve the platform based on usage patterns
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties
- We do not share your data with advertisers
- We do not use your information for targeted advertising
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Clerk — Authentication and account management
- Railway — Application hosting and database
- Sentry — Error tracking to fix bugs
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Your Controls
- You can update or delete your profile information at any time in Settings
- You can opt out of all email notifications in Settings
- You can control what appears on your public profile (progress, achievements, streak)
- To delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove all associated data
